Call for coders

Within 4 weeks we will start our first intake of coders for the project. Initial response has been good. Two key positions have been filled and we have another three that are still available for the first intake. I recommend getting your resume in as soon as possible.

Progress in the making

We have continued our discussions with prominent members of the media industry. Initial contact is proving stronger than anticipated and demand is going to be high for this service.

Within two weeks the first paper on the high level outline regarding this evolutionary service will be available her on the NewSphere blog.

You are going to want to read it.

Stratergy continues

This week i will be meeting with a few prominent media people who work for online publications based in news. We will be exploring the service and getting direct feedback from them. My goal is to get one of them on-board as a contributor to the service.

Exert from a essay i wrote tonight

NewSphere design goal is to reset the internet and introduce a new platform that will make information really free and unstoppable. This is a fundamental humanitarian goal. Really delivering it would be evolutionary. People all over the world no matter where they are will benefit from a platform such as this.

Welcome!

It's started. Three years of thought and design are finally coming together. This project started back in the 90's when i was reading a newspaper. I was reading yesterdays news. That's when i had the first thoughts about this service. At the time i did not know it.

Over the years since then technologies have developed as i did with the industry. New technologies became available that helped shape my thoughts and the fundamental concepts that form the building blocks of NewSphere.

So what is NewSphere? Heh, i wish i could tell you in explicit detail, but right now i cant. I will be able to tell you more as soon as the concepts are fully patented and copyrighted. I expect this will take an additional six months, but don't worry i will be leaking information about the project as we go.

The first leak is this "User generated content is the future of the internet, i think we all know that, what we will solve at NewSphere is how to organize it, make it relevant and make it important, that is the key".

Yesterday i started gathering the team of highly talented individuals who will form the governing board. I have carefully selected people who meet the criteria. The response so far has been great, I'm looking for a governance body that will consist of 5 people, we are almost there. I will speak to the final two people over the next 48 hours, once complete i believe we will be in great shape.

NewSphere will be open source. This i can promise. Open source is important for this project as it has to be a grassroots initiative or it will fail. When dealing with people individual thoughts, feelings and emotions i believe its critical that those are protected by a system that is open, free and in the best interest of the world and everyone in it. Open source is the only way to guarantee this.

I was writing an email today to a future governor of NewSphere, i realized while writing the email that the momentum behind the company was going to be mostly humanitarian. I realized that i had finally found a product and service that would actually help our planet and not necessarily my wallet. I think the momentum will steadily grow as people understand what we are going to do here at NewSphere, its important work. Very important.

Ok enough of the monologue.
